Game #54 - Sunday, June 24, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. Kyle joined me today on another beautiful day at the ballpark. We sat in Section 8 and pretty much had the whole area to ourselves. The Orioles staff should be commended for handing out free ice over the entire series. The home games are two-thirds of the way done and this was a tough one to watch. Jeremy Guthrie is still here and pitched another great game. Maybe he does deserve a better fate somewhere else. But he has been a first-rate player and more importantly first-rate person throughout his tenure in Baltimore.

Game #53 - Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Another game where I was on my own. The Natty Boh team actually came and found me today! That was very flattering. The game went by pretty fast and so will this post. ;)

Game #52 - Friday, July 22, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. This season just seems to flow so freely and quickly. Well I am enjoying life and enjoying the company of others. I was happy to see Dr. Ryan and Kristin hanging out behind me in the Miller Lite Flite Deck. A few more folks have started to recognize me, so I hope to get some more photos of the stalwarts and employees of Camden Yards before the season is over.

Game #51 - Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 12:35 P.M. - Hottest game of the year. Went with Gongshow and Kyle. I wish there were more day games. Including opening day, this was meant to be only of three day games. Fortunately (or not depending on your perspective), the game against Toronto on 9.1.11 will be pushed up to 12:35 P.M. in lieu of the Baltimore Grand Prix! I embrace this weather. Complaining will not change anything. 35,000 + people and most of the fans were in a good mood, regardless of whom you were rooting for. I had the Bratwurst for the first time this season. Fantastic! German Shepard Rescue Group was there! I hope this is a return of more dog and pet groups. Maybe I wish they weren't there, hoping all the animals had loving homes!

Game #50 - Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - A milestone number for me. And a lot was going on. Thanks to Chris C. and pals. We hung out in the bullpen area today. Got the important pictures with the important mascots. I think this is the University of Baltimore Bee :) Also met Mr. Randy Edsall, the new coach of the University Maryland Football team. He threw the first pitch. Very nice guy. My picture with him is on here and it was an honor for me. Hung out with Tony G., Carlos, and some of their pals in the now supposedly legendary Section 8 . In other terrific news, the animals were back at the Community Booth with Pets on Wheels! The far off distance shot of me is via Tony G.

Game #49 - Monday, July 18, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Tough crowd. A lot of Red Sox fans and that needs to be acknowledged. They are a great team. Hung out with Pete, Kevin H., and Paul W. in our usual section. I was happy to run into Nick V. once again. We talked for a few minutes about my blog and my insanity. There were some rowdy people near us but a small group of people don't represent everybody. The majority of the people out there really just want to enjoy themselves and feel good.

Game #48 - Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. Met up with Tom G. and Chris W. today! Thanks for the ticket upgrade Tom! Fantastic weather today and all weekend! Middle photo is the major league debut of Matt Angle. No relations to Kurt.

Game #47 - Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. I ran into Kelly H., Vitya, and GDM all within a matter of minutes. A lot can be said about this franchise, but people are still attending games. Attendance may be down across baseball, but people are still supporting. I know for many; it's a night out, a social thing, or just something to do. But at least people are still doing. And the weather was tremendous tonight. No pictures! ;)

Game #46 - Friday, July 15, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - This is one of those rare games where I was solo. It was actually refreshing. I love the company of good people, but you are your best company. Always is and will be the case. :) A charming moment is when Derek Lee and the Oriole Bird were stretching together and fist bumping. Pictures included. Nick Markakis earned his 1,000th career hit. Congratulations are in order. He went about it like any other at bat. The crowd gave him a strong standing ovation. I don't know Nick personally, but he goes about his business in very quiet fashion. It's nice to see the fans appreciate what he has accomplished in his career and for this franchise. He has many good years left. All the best.

Game #45 - Thursday, July 14, 2001 at 7:05 P.M. - Long vacation and an all-star break thrown in. It was good to be home. I met up with Chris and Vijay on this night. Also hung out with Wily and Bridget towards the end. One thing I liked was when they recapped the top 5 plays of the first half of the season, Markakis, Jones, and Pie stood and watched. I found that refreshing. Maybe I am looking too into this, but it's ok to have fun and take a step back and appreciate what you have done. Jones' catch in Seattle was the top play. As the game numbers pile up, it will be exciting to see where this blog and our seating arrangements and experiences go from here.

Game #44 - Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. The last home game before the All-Star break. It's JJ Hardy T-Shirt Thursday! This was perfect weather. We had a heck of a crew in Section Great today! :) Thanks to Pete for the ticket! Thanks to Chris and Pete for the screen capture! Thanks to Kelly for the picture with Natty Boh! I hope to remember everyone : Pete, Sarah, Rick, Chris C., Vijay, Mike D., Josh F and his son, The Horney brothers, and Muriel. This is what it's about, good friends, good weather, and enjoying life. Lance Berkman hit home runs from both sides of the plate, the latter going 444 feet into Eutaw Street and seemingly bouncing off the Warehouse. The true highlight for me was Adam Jones' expressing genuine frustration in the bottom of the ninth. He grounded into a fielder's choice and you could see him cursing himself at first base I imagine him being voted Most Valuable Oriole. See you in mid-July friends. :)

Game #43 - Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Back with Sarah and Mark again! Good crowds two nights in a row. The Cardinals' fans, like the Reds' fans, have been very friendly the last couple of evenings. Chris Carpenter should be commended for his 132-pitch complete game. He is a professional. The Orioles had the bases loaded with no outs and it never seemed to phase him. Thank again to Sarah for the picture with the bird. Speaking of which, I hope I gave the Orioles Bird enough breathing room. I hope to take some more with my pal during the second half of the season! :)

Game #42 - June 28, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. St. Louis is a good team with or without their star first basemen. A lot of Cardinals fans in attendance. I was joined by a couple myself. Hello to Cardinals fans Sarah, Mark, and also Matty (Orioles fan) who joined me today in Section 8. Lewis P. made a return, sitting a few rows ahead of us. Ran into Jeff of Slaintes again. After the rain-delay, Michelle, Erin K, Tracy K. hung out with us in Section 9. Thanks to Chris C. for the screen shot and Sarah for our photo!
