Game #69 - Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. One of the smallest crowds of the season. Walk-off win and post. Really don't have much else to offer here except walk-off pictures from a distance!

Game #68 - Monday, August 29, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Yankees tie the series 2 games apiece. Rubber match is next month. It seemed like there were more people last night than the day before. Kelly has been kind enough to take my photos with Mr. Boh. I was happy to get one with her today. The weather was stellar. Chazz Palminteri threw the first pitch. His new restaurant in Baltimore is fantastic. Wonderful food and amazing atmosphere. The layout of the place is tremendous. Finally, the Great Dane rescue group was back again, for maybe the 6th time!! :)

Games #66 and #67 - Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 1:35 and 7:35 P.M. respectively. . Kyle was in our section. He got into it with some of the Yankees fans. Due to the weather event, it was a bit empty. The evening game had even less pals and fans. Good news is the 9/8/11 is a day game! The holidays comes early or late! They had the jumbo tron on Kyle during the day game for a few seconds and they had it zoomed on me during the night game for about 10 seconds. I was so embarassed. I'm going to guess that some of the camera people or somebody recognizes me. Finally, I have a new respect for Robert Andino. They had a new feature in between one of the innings called "Andino At The Movies" and he reviewed the Lion King. Hilarious would be an understatement. They showed him laughing on the field when the segment was over. Brilliant.

Game # 65 - Friday, August 26, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Tough one today. A lot of tributes to Mike Flanagan. Jeremy Guthrie is world-class for asking if he should keep the #46 or switch to something else. He respects the game and the business of baseball. Just like Flangan did. You can tell this was a game that the Orioles were inspired to win, maybe because of the circumstances. The mainstream media can make assumptions and speculations based on hearsay, hyperbole, or theories. The truth is, we lost a classy player and human being. And we may never truly know the reasons behind it. Amazing. This was one of the best home games of the year. Got the Orioles 2012 Pet Calendar sponsored by BARCS, which I am a proud volunteer of. Also got to meet Chad from Operation Orange and his wife Kristy. They were in the Take Back Our Yard Section. Had a big crew tonight : Pete, Rick, Kelly H, Kevin H, Mary, Kim, and I apologize if I a missing anyone.

Game #64 - Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. The Orioles had a tough home-stand. But we persevere and brave whatever elements are thrown at us. They did get the win today. Best part of today - Nickeolodeon Kids Day! Look at some of the legends I got my photographs with! :)

Game #63 - Saturday, August 14, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. It was bff day today with Kim. The rain stopped in time for the game. More importantly, this was the Orioles Hall-Of-Fame ceremony. I always enjoy this day and it makes me appreciate what past players meant to this team and this city. Congratulations to Mike Bordick and Richie Bancells. These ceremonies always get to me and I do get emotional, sometimes to the point of tears. This year was sad, partially because there were maybe only a 1,000 people in there seats to watch. With the on-and-off rain that was to be expected. Sometimes you hear stirring music that accompanies a film or ceremony which can lead to tears. In other instances it comes off as forced and insincere, that it becomes patronizing. This music and ceremony was more the former. The Orioles may do a lot of things that justify questions, but the ceremony is not one of them. This is one of the highlights of the season for me.

Game #62 - Friday, August 12, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Kind of a quiet night. As more discussion about the football team comes up, there will be less people attending games. And that does make me a little sad. The Orioles are still a prideful team and will play with such. I will stay with them until the end. As will others. Pete and Sarah were in our section today. We all seemed a bit out of it and checked out early.

Game #61 - Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Chris, Vijay, and Melanie in our section today. The game just came and went. It was Jake Arrieta t-shirt Thursday, so a few more people in the building than usual! Crossed path with Zac B. at Pickle's and caught up. It was a great evening but sad to see the night's are getting a bit shorter. To me it's always Summer. The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue was back again! I believe this is their fourth visit! :)

Game #60 - Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. This must be reiterated : In a ballpark, walk-off wins are one of the greatest things you will ever see. Nolan Reimold hit a HR in the bottom of the 10th inning. The way the players act like little leaguers or behave like this is their first baseball game ever played, comes off so genuine. That's real celebration! It's endearing. It's innocent. It's emotion. This is why you never leave a game early, if you don't have to. Mike D. was in our section today. Perfect weather. One of my favorite games of the year. And the Oriole Bird running around at the end is such joy! :)

Game #59 - Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Gary, Kristen, Scott, Rick, and a whole slew of their pals in the Section of pals today. This game was highlighted by the blown call of the third base umpire, on a steal by Nick Markakis. Buck Showalter was justifiably upset and eventually tossed. It was the loudest the stadium has been in a while. In a positive sense, I love the fact that Buck stands by his team under such tough circumstances. He is a first-rate manager and seems like a good guy.

Game #58 - Monday, August 8, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. A game where I thought I would be alone. To my pleasant surprise, I was in good company. Kristen and Scott, who are in town from Germany, joined me in our Section. Tracy, Katie, Dave and were on the third base side and I hung out with them near the end of the game. Very good people. Also spotted Rob S. walking around. Finally, Anna spotted myself and Kristen on the big screen earlier. She was nearby and we met up for a little at the conclusion of said sporting event. . Most important of all, the German Shepard Rescue group was back at the Orioles Reach booth!! :) Pictures of all my friends are posted!
