Game #20 - Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. I did run into Brendan and his pals and hung out with them behind home plate before heading back to television Section 8. I almost didn't make it to this game. There was an unintentional or intentional hang out session with Steve C., Bob H., Zorana, Adrian, Will G., Mark H., Bill C., Alicia, Laurie, and a few others at JA Murphy's and John Steven's LTD. Lots of "bombs". Still got here with a few "spirits" in me.

Game #19 - Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. The first walk-off of the season and it goes to extra innings. I must say this, based on body of work, the best player on either team in this series if Ichiro Suzuki. A complete stud and class act in baseball. I was happy to run into Trevor and his family. It was his nephew's first baseball game. Also fresh from their honeymoon was Shapp and Misty. 13 Innings and it was exhausting . Fantastic way to start the series and walk-offs are maybe the best feeling in sports. Saw Tony G. at the end of the night On a very important note the All Shepherd Rescue group was there! Some photos are of those lovely animals! :)

Game #18 - Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. - met up with Kyle and we were on tv again. As I was walking back to my car, I saw Derek Lee parked at Whole Foods and he saw my shirt and we nodded at each other. He just grounded into a double play to end the game and since he was a civilian at this point, he probably did not want to be bothered. Hope to meet him, say hi, shake his hand and get a great photo.

Game #17 - Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 1:10 P.M. - Since the team is doing poorly, at least I can talk about all the tremendous people I am running into. Met up with Bernard and Robyn, whom neither I have seen in nearly 3 years at Noodles and Co. Met up with Gary, Emily, and Christie at Pickles, picture with the Pickle as well included! As the day continued also met up with Nate, Kyle, Channing, Kelsea, Cliff, Steve, Jen near the foul pole. Also hi to Dan and Kevin again. This has been a weird week as I've seen close to a half-dozen people I have not seen in a few years and I ran into Jared B. who I have not seen in at least 5 years. I don't believe in coincidences.

Game #16 - Friday, May 6, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Great night to see all kinds of friends. Met up with Bret and met his wife Erin for the first time. Good to hang with them at Slider's. Our Oasis sing-a-long was cut off prematurely. Met up with Pete, Sarah, and some of their pals in our legendary television section. The rain came and I run into Bill C., Alicia, Steve C., Mack O., Will., Laurie U., and sorry if I forgot anyone. I stayed till the end even if no one else wanted to. Also met up with Paul and Dan behind homeplate. Finally met up with Chris C. and that was that. Yes it sounds like I am name dropping, but I am thankful to have so many good friends in my life. A true highlight on this night was seeing all kinds of great people, the game was secondary. Post celebration at John Steven's Ltd.

Game #15 - Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. I once again met up with Pete and Sara at the game. Section TV is the place to be. Jon Lester is world class . The crowds for this series were surprisingly low. Attendance overall is down for a lot of things, not just baseball. Never got to meet up with Bill W. who was in club level. Thanks to Kimmie Mellin for the screen shot off the tele. Ok bye.

Game #14 - Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Met up with Pete and Sara beforehand, and Pete and I headed down for the game. We were in Section 8 - television section once again. Pictures to come (maybe) Don't tell anyone this is where it is. I don't want word getting around. ;) Chris and pals came to join in. We got on the big screen a few times. Ran into fellow Orioles fan Nick V. tonight. The highlight were these great pictures of course! One with Natty Boh himself!

Game #13 - Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - The second homestand is winding down, with the last series vs. Boston Red Sox. This was a very simple game. I was hanging out solo in Section 75, the 3rd base side on the MASN broadcast. Orioles Bird came to the section to say hi to everyone!

Game #12 - Sunday, April 25, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. - Even more empty seats for this one. You could say it's Easter, the economy, attendance continuing to drop, whatever. Went to the game with Bob, Nat, and Laurie. Met up with Martin and Trish. Not much to say to this. Arrieta is for real. Britton, Guthrie, and Matusz when he comes back are a legit starting 4 on this team, maybe not on others. Otherwise this team stinks. That's not stopping me from coming. The reaction Mariano Rivera came out to close, rivals the reaction for the team during the Orange Carpet Ceremony on opening day. Team plummets to 8-12 with Boston coming next. Rain delays may or may not be a conspiracy or halt momentum, but this team is not playing as advertised.

Game #11 - Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - The New York Yankees were here and there is an ongoing debate/crisis if you will about New York and Boston coming down and taking over the yard. It's what it is. Focusing on the "negatives" is not going to make it go away. Kyle and I were in the foul pole vicinity again.

Game postponed - Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. I ended up meeting with Mike D., Jason S., and Mr. S, and for whatever reason, the game was decided to be postponed. This game could have gone on. The rain subsided by 7/730.

Game #10 - Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - This game was strange. Jim Thome still is the man. I know the pictures are lacking but the season is early. I hope this is the end of the short blog posts.

Game #9 - Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. This was family/friendship/roommate night. I met up with The Mellin's! Early on we left our seats in the 300's behind home plate to move down to Section 16 again. We were on tv during the Smile Cam and 7th Inning Stretch for "Thank God I'm A Country Boy"!!! My first visit to the Natty Boh Bar! I am happy to see Heavy Seas and Flying Dog being served in several locations around the facility! This night was fun.

Game #8 - Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. This may turn out to be one of my favorite game's of the year. Pete and Shaun were there. Good times for sure. Pete had a good feeling about this one and he was right. Thanks to John and Cindy for spotting us on TV over in Section 8 by the foul pole. Thanks to Kim, Eric, John, and Cindy for the screen captures. Joanna spotted me and gave me a call, and herself, Jesse, Matt, and Kim joined us in our tv section. This may end up being one of the most fun times I have at a game this season. But aren't they all!

Game #7 - Monday, April 18, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. - This falls on Kyle's birthday. The Orioles lose their 8th game in a row here. But it was still a good time. Hung out with some of his pals and that was that. Oh yeah, another picture with the Bird! :)

Game #6 - Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:35 P.M. First home Sunday game of the year. First homestand comes to an end. Beforehand got to hang out with Willy, Bridget, Steve, Bob, and Erin at Pickles. Hung out with Kyle, Channing and Nate over in the foul pole area. Congratulations to Kyle and Channing for make the kiss-cam! ;)

Games #4 and #5 - Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 4:05 and 7:05 P.M. respectively. This is the double-header vs. Texas. The night before should of been postponed much earlier than it was. I ended up meeting Mackenzie at the Potbelly Sandwich instead of the stadium for baseball, oh well. But yeah... These are my first games going solo. I must admit, I like going to games alone. I love my own company but I also enjoy the company of other's. I know some pals were in and around the stadium, but 6 hours of baseball can be a stretch A double-header split, which is typical. In-between games I met up with Tony G. I will add notes about the games when necessary and will edit posts as the season goes by. Highlight was the Golden Retriever Rescue in the Orioles Reach Booth! :

Game #3 - Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. I like the new food choices from Delaware North. The sandwiches at Deli 54 are very good. Hung out with Tom G. on this nice evening in Section 16. Later on I was at the Club Level, hanging out with Ed and Becky. We each got a picture of the Orioles Bird, photo to come. Thanks to Joyce in the club level for all the great hospitality and emotion.

Game #2 - Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 7:05 P.M. Opening night was pure joy! I got my picture with Luke Scott and The Orioles Bird! Good to hang out with Laura and Ryan on this night. I would like to give Robert in Section 16 a shout out. He has been an usher with the Orioles for 41 years and always takes care of my friends and I. Thank you friend.

Game #1 - Monday, April 4, 2011 at 3:05 P.M. RIP, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Everyone is so happy on this day. What else needs to be said? :) Everything is looking up and the Orioles go 4-0. Great to hang out with Kim, Eric, Tracy, Brian, Kyle, Chris, Josh, Stacy, Pete, Ryan and everyone else on this day. The Orange Carpet Ceremonies is the most beautiful thing ever! Such emotion!
